Health Behaviour Consultancy

Using the science of Physiology and Psychology to develop a healthy mind and body.

My name is Sarah Jones and many people will know me from the years I spent coaching tennis in and around Harrogate and Knaresborough. My background is in Sport and Exercise Science in which I hold a Masters with a specialism in Physiology. I also hold Masters' in both Psychology and Health Psychology and am currently studying for a Professional Doctorate in Health Psychology.

I have experience of working with children, adolescents and adults within many different environments and organisations. My skills and expertise lie in working with people and helping them to make positive behavioural changes in areas they have identified as being problematic.

I am a Health Behaviour Consultant specialising in chronic diseases and significant life events, helping people to re-assess their lifestyle and make positive changes to improve their health, whether that be physical, psychological or both. More often than not the two are interlinked, although we may not be aware of this, and a change in one can affect the other. All my work is underpinned by scientific research and evidence and I am a strong believer in disseminating this information to as wider audience as possible to enhance understanding of factors that impact upon our health.

I have a particular interest in working with adolescents, so as well as working on behaviour change I also offer tutoring up to A-Level in my specialist subjects and help and advise with EPQ’s, UCAS forms, including personal statements, and other job and apprenticeship applications.
